Please help current dialysis patients and me, vote YES on PROP 8. Why?

My Mother Rim Bin lost her life on 12-27-2017 at #Fresenius kidney care located in Vista, CA. My mothers death was 100% preventable but #Fresenius and their staff from Regional VP Jason Bauer to Director of operation Rachel Tothill down to #Fresenius Clinic Manager Shaw'Marie Clayburn and charge nurse Blythe Cutllar, "all" lied, conspired and still conspire to not tell the TRUTH or let the TRUTH be known. I have the sheriffs report with pictures, response from #Fresenius themselves denying any and all liability. #Fresenius placed my mother on a slow path to death through suffocation by the use of oxygen.

My mother had pneumonia that had gone without being properly diagnosed and caused my mother to wheeze when she breathed. #Fresenius charge nurse Blythe Cutllar left my mother unattended for longer than 30 minutes, with the vitals machine alarm off, in a small room in the back with the door closed. I have an overwhelming amount of evidence that shows #Fresenius refused to sign to release my mothers remains to Greenwood Mortuary. #Fresenius clinic manager Shaw'Marie Clayburn called the San Diego medical examiner’s office and stated I abandoned my mothers body at the #Fresenius clinic located in Vista, CA.

PLEASE HELP ME SHARE MY MOTHER RIM BINS' ENTIRE STORY ABOUT FRESENIUS, THEY OPERATE LIKE A DIALYSIS KIDNEY MILL!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

This is so real to read to show how your mother has been neglected. I am deeply sorry for your loss.Your statement spoke in volumes. This is a horrific dehumanized medical matter.

I am so sorry for your loss! I am a patient at Fresenius San Diego, and I have seen several patients die.

Right in front of me! Ive seen them try to be saved by firemen and paramedics, the entire 911 squad attempting car. I will forever have nightmares and horrible traumatic flashbacks from watching fellow patients die! I burst out in tears when the soul left the body.

This could easily be me! I don't want to die this way! Alone, attached to a huge Nast machine with needles, surrounded by workers who don't care about you! You are absolutely right!

All dialysis in America is run like an animal slaugherting plant! Their bottom line is to turn and burn. Get the most patient's on and off the machine as quickly as possible and bill Medicare/medi and private insurance. I have my own issues with Fresenius.

They don't care! The social worker is clueless and they definitely won't refer you to get a kidney transplant! Even the manager knows nothing about the process! It's infuriating and disgusting!

These people have no moral fortitude as they do not want to get people better! I would get way more compassion in an ER hospital! The techs do care about me at my clinic and they are great, and most of the nurses too. But it is the greedy upper management that doesn't give a flying *** about their patients.

We are just a social security number to bill! Again I am deeply sorry for your mother. No patient should have to die like that out of negligence! Please sue!

Don't believe anything the Fresenius nurses and managers tell you! Get a lawyer ASAP, get your ducks lined up in a row, get an investigator, and sue! This is gross negligence on Fresenius's part! Another case up in Sacramento had their mother die due to negligence and they sued and won!

Fresenius seems to get sued all the time, as well as Da Vita. They have insurance for malpractice. Your mother can't be replaced. Please sue for the rest of us patients for better care.

I think prop 8 didn't pass because no one knows anything about dialysis and they thought voting no would seriously protect patients. A big lie! 110 million spent to fight prop 8.

Rediculous. Please sue!

Constant probkems

I started dialysis, here at FMC in February 2019. My schedule starts 9:45 till 2 pm, they constantly keep me here way after 2 pm, because of training nurses or their excuses. I understand be late on an occasion or two. But now I keep going up on time till 3 pm, my ride has to wait on me because I'm always late. What is sense of making appointment if it's not kept, because we as patients make or schedules according to them. Now I'm here from 9:30 am till 3pm, just because they traing nurse who has problems with the machine. Maybe they should train these nurses away from us patients because I feel as a robot not a human being. There other problems here but I would be here typing all day long. I've heard that other FMC clinics don't have so much problems as this one in Hobbs Nm. Please fix

Don’t do ittttt! Plano Tx Location

They don’t care about your work ethnic . It’s like elementary school they play games to get you excited but yet you have to worry about being graded. Your answering calling incoming majority are robo calls your disturbing patients collecting thousands of dollars and you are on a point system that determine your work how well you perform now this is only setup so you want get you mthly bonus . If your a rep trust & believe you will not be supported by supervisor or anyone above rank. They only care about collecting money from patients that are struggling. They are also prejudice against blacks but are very good at covering it up! The things I’ve seen are terrible especially by the lady that’s in charge Gina. She doesn’t like us at all put very good at pretending. They also have another person there Vanessa who makes it very hard for you making sure if she can stop you from getting your bonus no Matter how hard you have work. The job needs to be shutdown start over with a better professional knowledge team in health care that will appreciate job performance and not make it hard for people who have families while they go home with no worries! Yes it was also stated by higher rank if they don’t like you they will make it hard for you trust me from experience they will. Now everyone there isn’t bad but main ones in charge except for one Joel he’s pretty kool.

It's a medical facility you idiot! Do you want germs growing and infections being passed around?

Bring a blanket, heating pad, or try taking care of yourself so you can get a transplant.

Grow up, take responsibility, stop botching. Its just like a hospital...where there are procedures and blood, its going g to be cold!

You must be one of those underpaid lackeys that work for Fresenius, right? Maybe pull your tiny head out of your giant *** and realize you are in the same boat as the patients.

You’re a nameless number to the corporation and your brown-nosing does nothing for you.

You would have better odds of ingratiating yourself to the Wizard of Oz. Now “be gone before I dro a house on you.”

Rude and no compassion

I take treatment at Fresesnius in Sevierville,Tn and i admit i havent really being going like i should but i recently was hospitalized due to ESRD and decided it was a wake up call. So when i went back to the clinic i was advised by Sidney the manager at the clinic that she didnt have anytime for me that she changed my days and times without even calling me or anything. Told me i was non complaintant so she couldnt help me i either come the time she said or go elsewhere. I have only been on treatment for 6 months and in my 40s so yes it was hard for me to believe i was that sick at first and i messed up but to be talked to the way she spoke with me was unsettleing and unhearting.Everyone at the clinic always complains about her and all the regular staff have left because of her i feel i should just give up because of her

Well, you ARE non compliant! And clinics are like doctor's offices, you dont get to pick your time.

If you had taken care of yourself in the first place you wouldn't have to deal with any of it. So stop whining and start doing what they tell you to.

Staffing and treatment are terrible

The dialysis unit in Jackson, MS - the one across from St Dominique Hospital/ 381 Medical Drive, needs to be looked at immediately. Employees sitting at the desk and not watching patients, using their cell phones, and not changing gloves is a common problem. Their staffing is minimal, sometimes you have to call out to get someone to come to you and they can get attitudes. Patients have rights. This is life and death

Tech Becky

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
They scheduled us to be there at 5:30 am and supposed to have us every 15 minutes starring at 5:45am on the machine and hooked up running. The last 4 times I've had Becky as a tech she has not even showed up at approx until 5:40 r 5:45 she is extremely slow hooking me up on several occasions the alarms on the machines goes off and I have timed her as much as 10 min. Ignoring the alarms just setting around talking doing nothing I feel this very inconsiderate to me and other patients and the staff who are doing their job. She is usually late about taking me off. The other day she was setting up machines for patients who hadnt showed up while patient that was there waiting to be hooked up. This was witnessed by another patient. The patient waiting was me. The machine she was getting set up person hadnt arrived yet. I was delayed 40 min on getting hooked up because of this. I was n a rehab and driver was late getting me which ran him late on taking other people at the rehab to their appointments. Everybody was upset This was a bad situation. Her lack of doing her job has caused more than one bad situation. I'm on a timed schedule. And cant afford her neglect to her reaponsibilities. Everyone else seems to be able to do their job and are truly appreciated. Please handle this situation.

Family needs involved

Fresenius Does not include Spouse in medical information or decisions. We never see the doctor. My husband is sick since he started. Nobody listens. The problem is dialysis not being done correctly but they say it is. Horrible care and disrespect to family. Care team does not include spouse or family. Cannot visit with my husband during his treatment because of germs. Everyone in the center is not masked while hooking up my husband. They bring stuff from home pillows blankets and bags. Walkers are dirty, nurses put on masks but the guy beside my husband coughing is safe. I can't even go in with a mask. Disrespect of me. We have never seen the doctor but I can't see the doctor at the center but our doctor only talks to the patient at the center. Horrible Management and social workers who don't put family above nurses. they say they are my husband's family.. I am not part of the Care team..

I went through this with my late wife from this company. Because we were low income I would stay in the lobby so not to use more gasoline to go home then come back to pick her up.

One day the fire alarm went off while I was sitting in the lobby watching T.V. less than an hour later I was asked to leave as they suspected that I was smoking weed in the bathroom. I have never done any drugs, and I was told if I didn't leave they would call the police! I said go ahead as I never done drugs.

They didn't call the police, But I left to go to the city Police to complain. Now these are supposed to be medical professional's and one would think they would know the signs (eye's ect) of drug useage. I was forced to get a blood test done at my cost otherwise I could not even enter the place. With negitive result of drugs in my blood, and no appologies from the staff.

They would also pull more fluid off of her, when she started there she weighed 158 before she died she weighed 110 Lbs . They treated her and I like crap! They even tried to have her taken from our home to place her in a nursing home, which didn't work I had a POA on her medical and all! Long story short she decided enough was enough and wanted to quit going.

And On December 15 was her last visit to that place. She ended up in Hospice care On DECEMBER 26,2013 and passed away the morning of Sat December 28,2013 Her last two day's were pain free and we spent a lot of time talking. That Friday evening she went down hill, and I was at her bed side holding her hand when she passed away. That company robbed her of her mobility, robbed her of wanting to eat anything.

THey tried to force her to take medication for her phosphate's But her charts always showed she had normal levels of phosphate's without the medication to lower it. They also had her on 5 blood pressure medications!

Unprofessional nursing team

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Fresenius's Heart of Lubbock Dialysis center of Lubbock is unprofessional. I wanted to check the jug of a sealed (protected for my own security) unit which was going into my body and the nurse technician (Ponji) chose to become insulted and took my actions personally as if I was blaming her for sabotage. The nurse manager (Stephanie) instead of pulling the nurse aside to guide her into not taking my desire to inspect the secured bottle personally and telling her that is my right as a patient decided to push me out of the place because "we cannot assist you here at this location." And to continue, "You need to find another place to do dialysis," and suggesting two places.

Horrible

I am new at dialysis when I started I thought the norm was super terrible pain when they started the lines. This was after receiving lidocaine. This process was the norm every dialysis and tears would roll down my face and I had severe bruises. The combination of Kim the supervisor and nurse Rebecca. The nurse practitioner asked me how I was feeling and she has this confused look on her face when I told her I was in agony. One time a totally different nurse started the lines. I was shocked when she walked away because I felt no pain. I thought it was unusual I approached the supervisor Kim and Manager Nathan if it was possible I could have the other nurse who did not hurt me start the lines. Kim haughtily told me no and I had no choice. Last week one of the CNA went on vacation and I had three different nurse floaters start my line life and behold no pain or at least very minimal. Today Rebecca was back starting the line. It was so painful the pain shoot all the way to the top of my shoulder and I screamed so loud tears cascading down my face. Kim comes rushing and starts yelling at me. No apologies stating a nerve was hit. The problem with this is it keeps happening with me getting. I wanted to transfer to another facility and was informed I could not do so. I was stuck and the Social Worker Kevin blamed me. Called grievance at Fresenius apparently they are so busy no one picks up the phone. This place is very unprofessional nurses talk about their problematic patients or those that challenge them. You are lucky if you are the favored one white and rich and you get the nurses that don’t hurt. No wonder the supervisor Kim is so abusive because she can get away with anything and the patients are literally imprisoned in the facility. I called admissions to transfer and was granted the opportunity to do so. However, Kevin and Kim colluded to block the transfer. I guess it is die or be abused and have no patient rights.

Drivers

Fresenius transportation needs to be looked into. Spouse works for Fresenius. Driver leaves home at 3:30 am(45 min commute to work). Spouse clocks in when driver leaves the warehouse, not when driver gets to the warehouse or before loading. Driver spends day doing delivery to patients and clinics. Driver is allowed 14 hours of driving each day(that includes overtime). So by the time driver gets back to warehouse its after 6pm, 6:30 or even 7pm. Driver is usually home after 7:30 or 8pm. By the time driver gets home, driver tends to dinner, children and is in bed by 10pm, Then gets back up at 3am to be out of the house at 3:30am again. Tell me something is wrong here. Only reason driver likes job is because of the relationship with the patients. Many are like grandparents. Fresenius overloads drivers with too many stops with hundreds of miles of driving each day

Been a driver there for over 4 years. Some of your story is not true.

The second you walk in you are on duty and are getting paid. If he's not doing this, it's because he's not going on duty and getting paid. This is illegal to not pay the driver. We have over 70 drivers out of Oregon, OH and all of us get paid the second we walk in.

As far as the hours, federal law allows drivers to work up to 14 hour total per day, 11 hours driving, up to 70 hours per week.

If he can't do this safely, he needs to get in better health, or get a different job. Millions do it and have done it safely.

CLIENT COMPLAINT ABOUT ANOTHER PATIENT

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Sep 09, 2018

Location: Fresenius Swan Lake Dialysis Center, Sumter SC 29150 Constant loud cross talking between dialysis staff and patients. Recent event occurred 9/7/18.

This should be a generally quiet area out of respect for all other patients; however, one of the patients has been exceptionally loud in conversation with staff. When confronted by my spouse (who is on dialysis) when she was told that she was too loud and should lower her voice out of respect for other patients, she responded: "put your headphones on" and "don't listen". Nursing staff did nothing to address the issue. I'm concerned this may escalate with this patient.

This is only one of many incidents at this location with staff and patients (Swan Lake Dialysis Center, Sumter SC 29150; 803-774-****). Since most of the other patients are sick and elderly, they dont have the energy or the inclination to complain in a professional manner.

Lastly, it is difficult enough to keep my spouse healthy with constant medical appts, and treatments to ensure she survives long term. One thing we don't need is an environment that is not conducive to that end Consequently, I am submitting this complaint on behalf of my wife and all the other patients at the Dialysis Center.
